My professional life story is the definition of  “Personal Vocation.”

Encapsulated version – I served four years in the military. I worked in public and private sector jobs managing contracts, planning roads, bus routes and schedules and controlling finances, operations and property. Along the way I earned college undergraduate and master’s degrees. I raised a family with my wife. I coached kid sports, worked in grant funded secondary education endeavors and developed independent programs for improving student performance in schools. I developed, built and run a successful independent consulting business and I spent time working with a charter school. I eventually found my way into coaching school. Following an intensive coach training program I find myself at a place where I realize my career, experience, talent, best skills, beliefs and operating principles have merged in answering the questions we all ask ourselves about work: “What do I want and How do I get it?” I firmly believe we all deserve and are capable of discovering our passion, pursuing our dreams, and waking up every day looking forward to the opportunity to work and make an impact on the world.

What I have learned – In my combined military, public and private sector careers I have worked with hundreds of individuals, organizations and companies. I observed and studied human nature and the operating principles of the really good to the worst in people and businesses. I know personally what it takes to listen to your inner calling and follow your gut. Most importantly I have learned how to turn inspiration into skill, to make money, to have the freedom to spend time with family and friends, to live the lifestyle I desire and to coach others to do the same.

Bottom line – Everyone has an inner voice calling and urging actions. Everyone has things they need to work on to answer the call and get what they want.
